It also has given me the intuition of the living conditions while enduring the wrath of this intense storm. I was stubborn to heed the evacuation orders from the officials, as I underestimated the true power of nature, therefore I've learned a crucial life lesson. Here's the story I would like to share, and why staying put in the path of the storm is a horrible idea, no matter how strong it is. What's included in the story while encountering the storm: My preparation ahead of time before the storm arrived My experience while enduring the intense winds in the eyewall of the hurricane Experiencing being in the eye of the beast The living condition after the hurricane passed through The aftermath in the vicinity of the neighborhood A guide on what you should and should not do while being in the path or enduring the hurricane I lived in Callaway, (FL) my whole life before moving up north to Charlotte, NC recently.
Located in the Florida Panhandle between the cities of Pensacola to its west and Tallahassee to its east, Callaway is in the suburbs of Panama City, FL. I've been fascinated with tracking natural disasters such as hurricanes for as long as I can remember. I consider myself a weather nerd. Hurricanes are mother nature's most beautiful storms that should be respected but at the same, they can be extremely destructive.
Even though hurricanes are nature's most beautiful storms from a meteorological standpoint, at the same time they can be extremely deadly and drastically change lives.
